Job Description:

This position combines a wide variety of administrative duties within one or more of the Bridge divisions. The employee acts as a customer service representative and advisor for students who have signed up for one of our TEFL or language programs. He/she is a liaison between our customers, agents, and partner schools, as well as a support representative for students enrolled in our online programs. Administrative assistants also carry some office managerial duties.

Job Duties:

Advising Duties
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with our customers, agents & partners worldwide
  • Processing enrollments/sending out course confirmations; creating and sending out prepare-to-go materials to enrollees
  • Answering student questions by phone and by email; addressing customer complaints
  • Regularly updating all email templates, prepare-to-go documents, prices, agent records, and partner school records, contractual agreements, etc. to ensure accuracy
  • Finalizing all details of a student’s program to ensure a smooth and rewarding experience
  • Following up with students during and after their program to collect feedback
Bookkeeping/Database Management Duties
  • Ensuring that all course balances are paid in full on time
  • Accounts payable/receivable (relating to student courses, agents, partner schools, and the office)
  • Reconciling and submitting all end of month sales reports to manager
  • Processing payments & refunds in accordance with course terms & conditions
Administrative/Support Duties
  • Sending out printed certificates to Bridge graduates; getting certificates notarized and/or legalized when necessary
  • Mailing out orders for Bridge educational products, brochures, etc.
  • Responding to all online course support questions from students and trainers
  • Managing the phone system
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Back-up sales when necessary

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Administrative Experience

Qualities Sought:

  • Extremely organized with close attention to detail a must.
  • Superior math skills.
  • Superior communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent phone etiquette.
  • “Can-do” attitude. Thinks creatively. Solves problems.
  • Flexibility and adaptability regarding job responsibilities a must.
  • Excellent computer skills. Familiarity with databases.
  • Fluency in Spanish preferred; knowledge of at least one foreign language a plus.
  • Sales experience a plus.
  • Experience teaching English overseas or studying overseas
  • High degree of global awareness

Salary:

Salary is $30,000-$33,000 depending on experience. Benefits package includes health insurance.
