Capital University Piano Professor to Perform at Carnegie Hall

Esteemed professor of piano at Capital University’s Conservatory of Music, Dr. Tiangshu Wang, is slated to perform at the legendary music venue, Carnegie Hall in New York. Dr. Tiangshu, who is head of the Keyboard Area at the Conservatory, will perform a solo recital featuring compositions by Mozart, Chopin and Liszt, as well as works with Chinese elements. The concert is November 12th at 2 p.m., with a special on-campus preview performance November 9th at 8 p.m. Capital University Conservatory of Music graduates have established themselves as professional performers, teachers, conductors, composers and music industry entrepreneurs. New Social Research Center at Colorado Mesa University Releases First Poll Results

With the goal of providing applied research opportunities for undergraduate students, Colorado Mesa University recently launched a new social research center. The center, created in partnership with Rocky Mountain PBS, has just released the results of its first poll, focused on the upcoming elections. “No other university in Colorado is currently polling Coloradans,” said CMU President, Tim Foster. “We saw the need and are fortunate that Rocky Mountain PBS is joining with us to meet that need.” Colorado Mesa, named #1 public liberal arts school in Colorado by Washington Monthly Magazine is committed to making the international student experience exceptional. PhilaU Graduate Program Ranked 9th in the Country

A Philadelphia University program has received high praise from the Emergency Management Degree Guide. The Disaster Medicine and Management program was named one of the top online emergency management master’s degree programs in the country, at 9th on the list. According to the ranking guide, the degree offered by PhilaU allows students to “gain access to in-demand careers in public health, nursing, environmental health and even national defense.” PhilaU focuses on immersing students in their field of study early, through internships and other opportunities, and has a 95% job placement rate for graduates.
